What we do

Our Real Estate Advisory (part of the KPMG Deal Advisory department) team provides comprehensive advice to major Russian and international real estate and construction companies. Our main services include independent valuations, feasibility analyses, financial models development, and optimization of large scale land development concepts. Data & Solutions is a separate team within Real Estate Advisory that develops new IT solutions and integrates existing ones, with a view to improving traditional services and boosting the internal efficiency of the entire Deal Advisory department. Due to growing work volumes, we are looking to reinforce our Solutions sub team by recruiting a new intern or junior developer.

The successful candidate will participate in developing the innovation practice of Real Estate Advisory and actively participate in the process of digitalization of Deal Advisory department. The scope of this work will include development of new solutions, updates of existing ones and participation in finance projects, boosting efficiency and delivering new insights by leveraging cutting edge technologies.

Responsibilities:

On regular basis you will participate in the following processes:
- Software (most part is web-based) development and testing
Implementation of IT solutions to end users
- Development of requirements to IT solutions functionality
- Research of key innovation trends in industry and participating in development of strategy of innovation practice

You might be involved in projects of Real Estate Advisory (valuation, deal advisory, finance raise, feasibility studies), covering:
- Financial modeling
- Preparation of client presentations and pitches
- Market monitoring, including international real estate markets
- Maintaining real estate databases

To fulfill the role the candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:

Essential:
- Graduate, last year bachelor student or master student of IT, engineering, finance or economics faculty of top university
- Strong knowledge of C#, SQL
- Strong knowledge of basic algorithms and data structures
- At least intermediate English level in order to work with documentation and communicate with expat colleagues
- Eager to learn finance (financial modelling, financial statements, valuation methodology, etc.)

Will be a strong advantage:
- Experience with the ASP .NET framework
- Experience with JS, Angular or any other "Front-End" framework
- Successful experience in programming contests
- Understanding machine learning basics (as some of our solutions include ML components, developed by Data sub team)
