The Position

Risk Reporting Specialist is primary responsible for Risk data keeping and risk reporting to the senior risk and business managers of VTB Capital Investments business line (WIM).

Principal Responsibilities

• Own, maintain and develop all internal and Group Risk reporting, ensuring that these are produced to high standard and tight deadlines. This involves extensive liaison and cooperation with IT department, Operational Departments, Accounting department and Finance team, Business divisions (Trading, Portfolio management and Sales) and the individual risk officers;
• Maintain and monitor limits and exposures of the various risk systems, ensuring that any limit violations are captured and reported to senior management in a timely manner;
• Monitor excellent data quality of core risk reports in its financial disclosures and regulatory submissions.
• Work closely with IT on automation of the risk reports and new developments, including individual clients requests for specific risk reporting
• Support keeping of risk rules and classifications in key risk systems (e.g. CRIMS, Avancore)
• As a part of pre-trade control Approval of deposit placement in line with limit framework, review of terms of agreements with c/p and banks
• Participation in approval of individual clients’ investment declaration and assets transfers
• Participation in approval of individual clients’ agreements (other from declarations)

Key Competencies & Qualifications

• Strong financial reporting background
• Attention to detail
• Good knowledge of financial markets and products and cross asset business knowledge
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Ability to manage client expectations
• Good communication skills
• Intermediate English (written) is a must
• VBA, SQL is desirable
